No. ForgeEPM reads issued IFC and carries the fabrication, material, quality and delivery record from there.

Is there a per-seat charge?

No. Pricing is per fabrication facility. ForgeGo devices do not add seats.

Does the software grant AISC certification?

No. It supports the recordkeeping a fabricator chooses to run. It does not replace the quality manager or an auditor.

What ForgeEPM is — and is not.

Does ForgeEPM replace Tekla, SDS/2 or Advance Steel?

No. Detailing stays where you detail. ForgeEPM reads issued IFC, keeps provenance (digest, schema, revision, GlobalId mapping), and controls fabrication from that authorized register.

Is this an ERP?

No. It is the operating record for release, material, production, QC, shipment and turnover, with live job-cost signals. Deep multi-plant finance stays in your accounting system.

Does it grant AISC 207 certification?

No. ForgeEPM supports the controls a fabricator chooses to run. It does not replace the quality manager, the QMS, or an auditor’s decision. See the compliance page.

What is ForgeGo?

The phone/tablet face of the same event log. Pair with a timed QR, scan signed tags, inspect heat, advance named stages. Offline queue if shop Wi-Fi drops. Included — no extra seats. ForgeGo details.

Where the record lives.

Is the fabrication database in the cloud?

No. The system of record is a Windows PC or shop server on your network. Mill certificates, drawings and the event log stay on disk you control. Data residency.

What if the internet goes down?

The host is local. ForgeGo queues bounded actions and flushes when the host is reachable. Connectivity is a sync path, not permission to work.

What hardware is required?

One Windows 10/11 PC or Windows Server on the shop LAN. Phones and tablets pair over local Wi-Fi. No per-workstation licenses.

Is ForgeMail the same as the shop database?

No. ForgeMail is company email on Microsoft 365 (@forgeepm.com). Public forms notify info@forgeepm.com. That is not where heats and QC live.

How do the free months work when you launch?

Monthly: first month free. Annual: 12 months for the price of 10 ($80,000 instead of $96,000). Multi-shop expansion is listed on pricing.

Is there really no per-seat fee?

Yes. Estimators, CWIs, saw operators and shipping can all have access. Adding ForgeGo devices does not change the subscription.
