ForgeEPM Terms of Service
Company: Forge EMP, LLC, dba ForgeEPM ("ForgeEPM", "we", "us"). Effective 4 November 2026. These terms govern paid subscriptions to the ForgeEPM, Forge Build and FORGE 3D programs ("the programs") and the ForgeGo app. By subscribing, you agree to them.
1. Subscriptions
Each program is a separate subscription, billed on its own invoice. You choose a monthly or yearly billing period for each program at sign-up. ForgeEPM and Forge Build are licensed for unlimited seats at your company; FORGE 3D is licensed per company. The company name you give at sign-up is the name carried on your license key.
2. Prices and payment
Current prices are shown on the plans page at the time you subscribe. Paying for a full year at once is discounted against twelve months at the monthly price. Payment is by credit or debit card, processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure pages; ForgeEPM never receives or stores your card number. Each charge is recorded as an invoice, and a receipt is e-mailed to you.
Prices may change for future billing periods. We will give notice of a price change before it applies to your renewal; the new price takes effect on your next renewal after the notice.
3. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically. Your card is charged on the same day each month (for monthly plans) or each year (for yearly plans) until you end the subscription. By subscribing you authorize these recurring charges to your card on file until you cancel.
4. Ending a subscription
You may end any subscription at any time from your account, with no cancellation fee. Ending a subscription stops all future charges. Until then:
- The program keeps working normally through the end of the period you have already paid for ("paid-through date").
- After the paid-through date, the program stops saving new records.
- Your existing records always remain readable. Reading your own data never stops.
You can resume an ending subscription before its end date from your account. Switching between monthly and yearly billing takes effect at your next charge.
5. Failed or late payment
If a charge fails, we retry it and e-mail you. The program keeps saving new records for up to seven (7) days past the paid-through date while payment is resolved. After that grace period the program stops saving new records, and, as above, all existing records stay readable. Restarting payment restores saving.
6. Machine set-up service (ForgeEPM)
For ForgeEPM you may add a one-time machine set-up service, charged once with your first payment, in which we help install and configure ForgeEPM on your shop PC and load your initial data. Rush installs — set-up requested on short notice — may incur further fees, which we will quote and confirm with you before any additional charge.
7. Your data
ForgeEPM runs on a PC in your shop and your fabrication records are kept there, on hardware you control. You are responsible for your own backups of that PC. The commitment that your records remain readable applies to the data held in your own installation.
8. Acceptable use
The programs are licensed to your company for your company's fabrication and erection work. You may not resell, sublicense, or share your license keys outside your company, or attempt to defeat the licensing that ties a key to a paid subscription.
9. Warranty and liability
The programs are provided on an "as is" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. ForgeEPM is a tool that supports your recordkeeping and quality program; it does not replace your quality manager, your quality manual, or any auditor's or inspector's judgment, and it does not itself grant any certification. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeEPM's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected program in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Refunds
Because you can end a subscription at any time and keep access through the period you have already paid for, charges already made are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. The one-time machine set-up service is non-refundable once the work has been performed.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will notify subscribers by e-mail or in the program. Continuing to use the programs after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Forge EMP, LLC agree that any dispute arising out of these terms or the programs will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and both sides consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Entire agreement
These terms, together with the plans and pricing shown when you subscribe, are the entire agreement between you and Forge EMP, LLC about the programs, and replace any earlier understanding. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
